Haiti - Elections : Some campaign promises of Jean Henry Céant

The Notary Jean Henry Céant, presidential candidate under the banner of the Party "Renmen Ayiti" has promised on a radio station of the capital that if elected, his government during the first 100 days, will create 100,000 jobs for the youth, including 40,000 as part of a safety program along the Haitian-Dominican border, to fight against smuggling, pending the establishment of definitive measures.

At security level, Jean Henry Céant takes position for the return of the army and the professionalization of the National Police of Haiti.

To encourage employment and production in the country, the candidate of "Renmen Ayiti" intends to make available funding to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

To solve the serious problem of dispossession of lands in Haiti, he promises to address the problem of identification of citizens and property (land registry) and ending spoilers networks

On the fiscal side, he wants as priority mprove services to the population, before considering an increase in the tax burden of around 15 to 18%. He also intends to formalize the informal sector, to increase the number of taxpayers and increase tax revenues of the Treasury.
