The Office of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the State University of Haiti (UEH) informs the general public, and applicants in particular, that registration for the Doctoral School of Nursing Sciences (EDSI) for the 2026-2027 academic year will take place from September 15 to October 2nd, 2026.

Admission Requirements :

a) Hold a Master’s degree in Nursing Sciences/Nurse Practitioner;

b) Possess a license to practice nursing issued by the Ministry of Public Health (MSPP);

c) Submit a complete application dossier within the established deadlines;

d) Pay the application submission fee of 25,000 Gourdes (twenty-five thousand) into the UEH account;

e) Undergo the selection process established by the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, including an interview.

Registration Steps:

a) Pay the fee of twenty-five thousand Gourdes (25,000.00 Gdes) at any SOGEBANK branch into the account: UEH/DEMANDE D’ADMISSION, number: 706054558;

b) Complete the online form using the following web address: https://admission.ueh.edu.ht ;

c) Specify "Doctorat en Pratique de Sciences Infirmières (EDSI)";

d) Print the online registration form. Note: Documents will be accepted at the Lycée National de Pétion-Ville premises from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (September 15 to October 2nd, 2026).

Required documents :

a) A cover letter;

b) An up-to-date curriculum vitae;

c) Two recent passport-sized photos;

d) A copy of the national ID card or passport;

e) Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or certificate of Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (copy and original);

f) Master’s degree in Nursing or certificate of Master’s degree in Nursing (copy and original);

g) Transcripts for the Master’s degree in Nursing (copy and original);

h) License from the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) authorizing the applicant to practice as a nurse (copy and original);

i) A copy of the birth certificate or an official birth record extract;

j) An academic letter of recommendation (from a professor or academic supervisor);

k) A professional letter of recommendation from a direct supervisor.

Note : Only complete applications submitted within the deadline will be reviewed.

Admission to the program :

To be admitted to the program, applicants must:

a) Have a complete application file;

b) Undergo the selection process;

c) Accept the program regulations;

d) Possess a level of English proficiency sufficient to follow the coursework;

e) Having participated as an instructor (Professor or Assistant Professor) in the UEH postgraduate Nursing program (PPSI/MSI) is an additional asset. Note: A cohort of 6 students for the Doctor of Nursing Practice program will be admitted for the 2026-2027 academic year.
