Jean Rony Medy, the rector of the Grand'Anse Public University in Jérémie (UPGA), revealed that in 2021, nearly 90% of the 300 primary and secondary school teachers who participated in training in the department could neither read nor write and had no initial training in education.

Kenscoff : 3 Days of Community Mourning

The Kenscoff municipal council announced three days of community mourning, from August 31 to September 2, in memory of the victims of the attack perpetrated by terrorists from the criminal coalition "Viv Ansanm". Gressier : Police Operation
