Demonstrating strong international solidarity, a humanitarian delegation from the Republic of Haiti arrived in Venezuela on Tuesday. Composed of 29 highly qualified specialist physicians in essential fields such as orthopedics, surgery, anesthesiology, gynecology, and internal medicine, and carrying 5.5 tons of essential medical supplies, this mission will provide assistance to the populations affected by the double earthquake of June 24. Medical Delegation and Humanitarian Aid from Haiti

At Simón Bolívar International Airport, the delegation was received by Venezuelan authorities, including the Vice Minister of Outpatient Care Networks, Dr. Noly Fernández, and Major General Manuel Castillo Rengifo, Venezuela's designated ambassador to Belarus.

"We did not come here to deliver leftovers, but to share what little we have with the Bolivarian people of Venezuela, as a sign of solidarity and fraternity. We did not send a consultative delegation; we came with specialists ready to make themselves available to the Venezuelan government for 15, 20, or 30 days, or even as long as necessary," said Minister Sinal.

He explained that the humanitarian aid also includes ultrasound machines, oxygen concentrators, and specialized equipment for pediatric care.

Noly Fernández, the Vice Minister of Outpatient Healthcare Networks, expressed the Venezuelan people's profound gratitude and emphasized the importance of the Haitian presence during these difficult times.

She explained that the Ministry of People's Power for Health, through its Observatory of Strengths and Weaknesses, is already coordinating the strategic deployment of medical personnel to the most affected areas, particularly in Caracas and the state of La Guaira. "Venezuela welcomes them with great love, solidarity, and respect for Bolivarian ideals. We share a common history that will allow us to move forward together. Thanks to these specialists, we will be able to support our citizens both spiritually and physically, demonstrating that Venezuela is not alone," Ms. Fernández stated.
