Haiti - Politic : Precisions of the Ministry of Interior, for the municipalities...
In order to facilitate the functioning of municipalities and Administrative Boards of the Communal Sections, the Ministry of Interior and Territorial Collectivities, informs the members of these councils, whose terms have expired in 2011 and who have not been replaced or the commissions that have replaced them, that they must continue to perform their duties, as acting executive officers until the next elections and are liable, as such, of the same institutional formalities of control required by the law.
The Presidents and members of Communal commissions and commissions of communal sections perform, under supervision of the departmental delegation and of Ministry of Interior, the whole competencies and responsibilities recognized by the Constitution, the decrees of 1 February 2006 on the territorial collectivities as well as other laws and decrees conferring particular competencies to these territorial collectivities.
