Tuesday at the Cine Triumph, Guyler C. Delva, the resigning Minister of Culture participated in a tribute evening dedicated to the personalities and groups who contributed to the evolution of Kompa, the most popular musical rhythm of Haiti. This evening of tribute was animated by various artistic performances among which, the excellent choreography executed by the pair Gaelle and Clifford as well as the pieces interpreted with majesty by the saxophonist T-Sax.

Among the distinguished guests who have been noticed at this event are Robert Martino, Ansyto Mercier, Dadou Pasquet, Pierre Raymond Divers (King kino), Albert Chancy, Lionel Benjamin, Mario de Volcy, Jean Brutus Dérissaint, Rolls Lainé, Jacques Sapper.

Minister Delva alongside Nemours Jean Baptiste Junior, welcomed the contribution of the Nemours Foundation Jean Baptiste and of young people from the Institute of Studies and African Research (IERAH) to the realization of the evening saying "The Compas is become international, it is exported and is doing well despite some difficulties. We must therefore continue to work so that this pace can continue to support generations," said the MCC holder.

After the projection of a monologue by Mario de Volcy on the work of Nemours, more than thirty personalities and groups, who have contributed to the influence of Kompa in Haiti and around the world, have received a plaque of honor from the hands of Delva and its Director General Jean Michel Lapin.
