Haiti - Literature : The Haitian poet James Noël decorated by the French Senate

As part of the Latin America and Caribbean Week in France, the Embassy of Haiti in France informs us that the Haitian poet James Noël (40 years old, born in 1978 in Hinche) who received on May 24th, the Caribbean Award of the Association of French Language Writers (ADELF) for his book "Belle Merveille" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24496-haiti-news-zapping.html received Monday a decoration of the French Senate during a lunch in the salons of the Presidency of the Senate in Paris.

This decision to nominate Noël was motivated by the quality of his works, especially in the field of poetry, already rewarded with various prizes including "Belle Merveille" is a vibrant tribute, on seismic love fund, to his country.

With this decoration, the Embassy would like, on behalf of the Government, to encourage its dedication to creating bridges promoting exchanges and cultural diversity, particularly through its artistic and literary magazine "IntranQu'illités", whose publications are regularly welcomed by professionals in the literature sector of both countries.
