Haiti - NOTICE : Extension of the deadline for payment of property tax in Port-au-Prince
The Communal Administration of Port-au-Prince informs that the deadline for paying the Property Contribution of Built Properties (CFPB) having come to an end since 31 March 2018 for the owners of houses built in the commune, in agreement with the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI), the deadline has been extended until 30 April 2018.
The Town Hall recalls that the rental tax is a real communal tax, based on the rental value of any building according to article 1 of the decree of April 5, 1979.
The Communal Administration thanks all concerned and invites them to present themselves within the deadline, in the annex of the Town Hall, located at #10 of the Street Jean Baptiste (Canapé Sofa), for the administrative suites, in order to avoid to be subject to the sanctions provided for in the decree of 5 April 1979 concerning the CFPB in the event of late payment.
