Haiti - Rio 2016 : 110m Hurdles, lack of luck for Jeffrey Julmis

Tuesday evening at Rio Olympics Stadium, the Haitian runner Jeffrey Julmis who qualified Monday with a time of 13.66 seconds https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-18335-haiti-rio-2016-the-haitian-runner-jeffrey-julmis-qualified-for-the-semifinals-of-the-110m-hurdles.html participated in the semifinals of the men's 110m hurdles, alongside the other 23 qualified runners, split into 3 heats of 8.

In heat 1, Jeffrey Julmis ranked 8th out of 8nners unfortunately for him, he hung the first hurdle and stumbled on the track, making rolling until the second hurdle. Jeffrey Julmis was disqualified under Rule 168.7 (not jumping each hurdle) of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

Progression rule to the final of this competition was the 2 first of each heat, followed by the 2 fastest, a total of 8 qualified.

For Jeffrey Julmis is the end of the Olympic competitions while he had declared before the competition on his Twitter account "I will leave it all on the track this evening !"

The 8 qualified made time from 13.15 seconds (the Jamaican Omar Mcleod) to 13.41 seconds in the overall ranking, Jeffrey Julmis, is ranked 24th out of 24...
