Thursday at the Royal Oasis of Petionville, Lucienne Deschamps Foundation has launched the 41st edition of the Henri Deschamps literary prize 2016.

The right of participation in the contest is free and accessible to all French-speaking or Haitian Creole authors living in Haiti or abroad. This prize is intended to reward a literary work written in French and / or Creole. The competition is open to all literary genres (novels, poetry, essay, story, story...) The work can be individual or collective production, it must be a full and complete text and must not have been published previously.

he manuscript must be submitted in digital format, PDF A4 no later than May 16, 2016 to : prixlitterairedeschamps@fld.org . In addition, 7 copies of the manuscript (Sheet 8 1 / 2X11, character size 14 and double spaced) in hard copy must be submitted to the headquarters of the Foundation Lucienne Deschamps at the corner of streets Grégoire and Chavannes at the 2nd floor (Pétion-ville).

In addition to a certificate of honor and merit a prize of 150,000 gourdes will be awarded to the winner who will also benefit from promotional support of the Maison Henri Deschamps, for the 12 months following the publication of his book. The author will receive 70% of the 2,000 copies selling price of the first edition and 15% of rights on the sale of the editions that follow.
