François Guillaume II, the Consul General of the Republic of Haiti in Miami, informs the general public and the press in particular of the participation of various Haitian artists at Art Basel 2013. "Art Basel Miami Exhibition" is considered one of the greatest cultural exhibitions of contemporary art, held annually since December 2002. This event, similar to the "Art Basel Switzerland" and celebrated in Miami Beach, showcases more than one hundred art galleries of the Caribbean, North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

The month of December, considered as the month of Haitian art in the annual calendar of the Cultural and Tourism Section of the Consulate, focuses on the promotion of Haitian art and is sending you the following schedule of the different activities :

Tuesday December 3rd 2013 at 6:00 pm - "The Ansin Family Gallery, at the Miramar Cultural Center" will present "RENAISSANCE»" of Philippe Dodard. 2400 Civic Center Drive Miramar, FL 33025 - The exhibition will be available until January 25, 2014.

Wednesday December 4th 2013 at 7:00 pm "Multitudes Gallery" will present "La Soirée de la Diplomatie Haitienne", with "CARIBBEAN FANTASTIC" of Jean-Claude Legagneur. 5570 NE 4 Avenue Miami, FL 33137 (Behind Soyka Restaurant) - The exhibition will be available until January 2nd 2014.

Wednesday December 4th 2013 at 7:00 pm - "Haitian-American Historical Museum & Archives" will present a group of Haitian Contemporary Artists, living both in Florida and in Haiti : Albert Desmangles, Alexandra Barbot, Dominique Ambroise, Elizabeth Guerin, Alpi, Ernst Sylla, Fred Thomas, Fritz Millevoix, Jacques Garcon, Kristo, Raphaelle Castera, Robert Sylvain and Sophia Lacroix. - 645 NE 127 Street North Miami, FL 33161 - The exhibition will be available until December 20th 2013.

Thursday December 5th 2013 at 7:00 pm - "Haitian Heritage Museum" will present "LES JACMELIENS TROIS, 2013" a group exhibition that will feature the works of Asser Saint Val, Harold Claudio, Jason Fleurant « JaFleu » et Laure A. - Miami Design District 4141 NE 2nd Avenue, Suite 105C. Miami, FL 33137 - The exhibition will be available until April 18th 2014

Friday December 6th 2013 at 10:00 am - "Haitian Arts Alliance" will present : "Global Caribbean V" a group of artists from the Caribbean, including four from Haiti. - 212-260 NE 59 Terrace Miami, FL 33137
