Haiti - Diaspora France : 19th edition of the exhibition-sale of Haitian art & crafts

The 19th edition of the exhibition-sale of Haitian art and crafts, of the Association Haïti Futur, will be held Saturday, November 30 and Sunday December 1, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. During 2 days, more than a thousand visitors like every year, will have the opportunity to discover paintings, carved iron crafts, jewelry made by Haitian artisans and painters as well as fair trade products.

Conferences on social entrepreneurship and digital education in Haiti are also planned throughout the weekend, as well as tasting of traditional dishes. The Group Adjabel will perfor maccompanied by dancers. An exceptional evening will be held Saturday, November 30 from 6:30 p.m. to honor the storyteller and writer Mimi Barthélemy, died on April 27, with the screening of the film "La voix de la conteuse" (The voice of the storyteller) which will be followed by a roundtable on the influence of Haitian artists abroad (Eddy Saint Martin, Henry Roy, Atissou...)

This event will be held in Paris, at the Foyer de Grenelle, 17 rue de l'Avre, in the 15th arrondissement (metro La Motte-Picquet Grenelle).
