Thursday, Uder Antoine, the General Coordinator of the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH), participated in a two-day workshop organized by the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI), on the problem of the measurement of employment in Haiti. Intervening on the theme "Perspective of modernization of human resources management in public administration," Mr. Uder Antoine felt that it is "imperative for the Haitian government to provide the country with an effective public administration, efficient and honest."

He also highlighted the many provisions that have already been taken in order to better manage human resources of the Public Service and allow the Authority to provide better results "Training sessions were organized according to the needs of different public institutions, procedures and policies appropriate to the urgency of the moment have been developed. An entire structure was put in place in accordance with the framework of the reform of the state program."

However, Mr. Antoine Uder still believe that if there is no follow-up policiy after the training, the reform can not land as desired by the Government and OMRH. Therefore, he has added that the institution he coordinates has the obligation to take all necessary measures in order to "contribute to the strengthening of the technical capacities of the various state agencies."

He took care to provide assistance, clear and precise explanations on the implementation of this reform, whose primary mission is to enhance the performance and capacity of Human Resources of the Public Service in order to provide better services to the population "The reform is imperative for the implementation of the program of 5 E of the Administration Martelly/Lamothe. We want a local administration where the officials are responsible, trained and guided by the interests of transparency."
