Jeudi, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism at the head of a delegation, carried out a mission to Aquin and Côtes-de-Fer. The objective was to meet with local authorities, personalities and associations in the region, around the plan of tourism development of Côtes-de-Fer and other urban development projects.

During this mission, the Minister visited amon others : the Vocational School of Aquin, the Hospital of Aquin, the Place d'Armes, the seaside, the School Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and old houses...

The Minister met with the community of the zone of Côtes-de-Fer to Aquin, in order to have a better cooperation of the population in the implementation of the Tourism Development Project of the South Coast. The positive impacts of such development for the region, have been listed and explained by the Minister, thematic workshops on the involvement of the population in this development will take place from January 2014.

In addition, the Minister has also intervened on land issues, to which the owners are facing in the zone.
