As part of preparation for the 2nd edition of the Christmas Market of the Grand South, Ms. Dithny Joan Raton, the Departmental Director of Tourism South East, met his colleague from South, Karine Condé Emeran as well as Andy Durosier, the Director of the Unit of Studies and Planning of the Ministry of Tourism.

After the success of the 1st edition of the Christmas Market which took place in December 2012 in Jacmel, the Christmas Market of the Great South, will be held this year in Les Cayes, 20, 21 and 22 December 2013.

Workshops to create decorative objects, magicians, puppet shows, face painting, cultural activities, local cuisine, music concerts are planned among other at the program. A Christmas market that will offer, according to the organizers, of original gift and traditional items.

A promotion campaign through professional meetings will also be conducted during the period to develop and improve the programming of the destination South, Southeast and Grand Anse.
