Remember that Tuesday, October 22, 2013, following his refusal to allow a search of his vehicle despite the presence of a Justice of the Peace and considering this refusal suspect, Me Francisco René, he Government Commissioner had ordered the arrest of Me André Michel and the seizure of his vehicle.

In a note the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) states that the arrest occurred at 7:30 pm "was legitimate and that it was conducted in strict compliance with the law."

Returning on the spectacular exit of the Courthouse of Me André Michel, with the help of three senators, the Ministry states that the escape orchestrated by certain sectors around of character deemed illegal of the arrest "[...] is part of a planned action to distract the individual from his natural judges and take the Government in the trap of the provocation [...]"

In this note it is stated "[...] by voluntarily accepting the help of three parliamentarians accomplice to escape the courthouse while he was under the orders of the court, the defendant is constituted as a fugitive [...] the alleged illegality can not justify the forced intervention of senators or others."
