Haiti - Education : Guadeloupe will train Haitian excecutives in the education sector

The Foundation Claude Blandin, Schneider and the rectorate of the Academy of Guadeloupe, unite in a partnership to help Haiti in the education and training of school leaders, inspectors and teachers. This partnership is part of the device "Jules Verne", set up by the French and Haitian Ministers of National Education, following the January 2010 earthquake.

By signing the agreement, the Foundation Claude Blandins committed to the tune of 10,000 euros and 20,000 euros for Schneider. These funds will be paid to "Gip Daifi" a vocational training institute and the rectorate of the Acamedy of Guadeloupe, will bring its expertise in training.

Through this partnership, 16 Haitians executives will follow until 2015, training in pedagogy in the form of seminars, of business visits and internships. "In addition to transmit our knowledge, we will participate in the implementation of pros sectors (filières pros)," said Stephan Martens, President of the Academy of Guadeloupe.
