Tuesday, Nécaire Grégoire, the Director General of the Ministry of Communications held an important meeting with all staff members to present the broad guidelines of the Ministry for the new fiscal year. Nécaire Grégoire indicated with an organic law, which was approved by the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, the Ministry of Communication, with a reinforced staf with separate units staff is firmly committed on a new way with specific objectives including :

• The soon publication of "Action-Magazine" a weekly, which will highlight the different realizations of power ;

• Thje return of "Trait-d'Union", the governmental bimonthly ;

• Un programme d’accompagnement et d’appui aux médias communautaires et aux journalistes sur l'ensemble du territoire national ;

• Better coordination of inter-institutional communication, in all its dimensions with, among others, the establishment of specific databases, on-site and online ;

• The publication of modules of information and social communication for the benefit of rural populations.

He also reported on the use of new information technologies and communication, through the Department of Technology, to make available to the community and interested sectors all necessary information relating to the organization and the functioning of the various entities of the State in the interests of transparency, as advocated by the Government.
