Haiti - Social : Executives and employees of MAST have their cafeteria

At the initiative of Charles Jean Jacques, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour (MAST), executives and employees of the Ministry (all directorates and departments combined), now have a cafeteria.

The Minister Jean Jacques, accompanied by Volmy Fils Desreameaux, Director General of MAST, Hugo Ponceley, Administrative Diector and members of his private office, which has proceeded Friday to the launch of the cafeteria, did not hide his satisfaction to accompany the Ministry staff at this level and appreciated the good quality of meals served.

"400 hot meals prepared in the best hygienic conditions by professional cooks, will be served regularly" assured a cafeteria manager, who stressed the importance given by the Ministry to promote domestic production in these actions.

This cafeteria was very well received by all the staff of MAST, which can now, every day of the week, with a contribution of 40 gourdes, afford a hot meal and a refreshing drink. According to Yverose Alcide and Piard Fatal, two executives of the Ministry, the cafeteria is a laudable initiative, which is likely to increase the level of employee productivity "We strongly hope that the beneficiaries of this cafeteria benefit the most and that services are improving more and more," while stressing their positive assessment of the quality of meals.
