On Monday, police of Petit-Goâve, arrested with the cooperation of the population two young individuals from Carrefour (Port au Prince) Daniel Émile Alphonse and Chester Compere, after these two criminals have proceeded to the exchange of counterfeit U.S. dollars, for a total of $600 at a merchant of the place, Mercidieu Rosias, who gave them the equivalent in gourdes.

Police were able to apprehend these criminals, who were traveling in a Toyota Land Cruiser, egistered BB-30246. A .38 caliber revolver, cartridges, a pair of handcuffs, a knife, a machete, an ax, a radio communication, a license to possess a weapon at home with the wrong number and a certain amount of money, were found in the vehicle.

Note that one of the two individuals arrested, Daniel Émile Alphonse had already been imprisoned on 7 January 2013 for drug trafficking...
