Haiti - Politic : Ralph Théano dissatisfied with the results of the legislative year
Ralph Théano, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Relations with Parliament deplored the poor record of the legislative year and expressed his dissatisfaction, recalling that on 29 bills introduced by the executive to Parliament, only 3 were passed and none in the same terms in both houses, the other 26 draft laws are still waiting the goodwill of parliamentarians...
For Ralph Théano, the Executive has no responsibility in the inaction of parliamentarians "[...] we've done our job, ithese are the honorable Members who have demonstrated their laziness in not voting almost no legislation for this legislative year," laziness he finds, both in the Senate and especially at the Chamber of Deputies, pointing to the responsibility of the President of the Chamber, Jean Tholbert Alexis.
Regarding the prospects of improvements for the new legislative year, the Minister Théano looked forward to the new office of the Lower House and its next president that he hopes "more dynamic and active" for best results...
