Haiti - Elections : Beginning of vote for electoral law...

Despite the divisions of the special commission responsible for analyzing the draft electoral law, deputies adopted on Thursday after a turbulent session, the report of the Commission and the Assembly began the voting process of the electoral law, article by article.

Due to the request of the Head of State to grant the Benefit of the Emergency, the Lower House declared the permanence of the Assembly until Monday, September 9, the closing date of the legislative session and invited members to attend the voting sessions.
