On Tuesday, the Ministry of National Education has announced the availability of the results of baccalaureate 2012-2013 for the departments of the West and Grand Anse, pending the publication of the results for the entire national territory by Friday. These results indicate an increase over the previous year's overall success rate (Rétho/Philo) in the Department of the West (4.03%) and a decrease in the department of Grande Anse (-8.26%).

According to Ecclésiaste Telemaque, the Deputy Director General of the Ministry, the success rate for the Department of the West stood at 30.2% in Rhéto (+4.81% compared to 2011 to 2012) and 62.07% in Philo (+9,15% compared to 2011-2012). The overall success rate for this department is 36.59% against 32.56% for the previous year (+4.03%).

The success rate for the Grand Anse is 27.59% in Rétho (+ 0.72% compared to 2011 to 2012) and 69.99% in Philo (-9.96% compared to 2011-2012). The overall success rate for this department is 36.58 against 44.84% in the previous year (-8.26%).

The final results of examinations of the baccalaureate exams regular session of the 2012-2013 academic year, for the whole country, will be published by Friday confirmed Mr. Ecclésiaste Télémaque.
