Haiti - Tourism : Voyage Travel Services inaugurates its first flight Nasseau-Haiti

Friday, Voyage Travel Services (VTS) inaugurated its first charter flight, Nasseau-Haiti. A delegation of entrepreneurs [of ahamians of Haitian descent, mostly] and journalists, have traveled with those responsible for VTS.

A presentation was made to members of the delegation on the investment opportunities offered by Haiti in the tourism sector. Thereafter, the delegation visited the Museum of Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH) and some parts of Port-au-Prince. Haitian nationals, after the guided tour through the exhibition halls of the museum felt that this kind of initiative, offered the opportunity to sell a better image of the country.

Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, at a press conference, welcomed this initiative strongly supported by the diplomatic representation of Haiti in Bahamas and announced have started talks with the leaders of VTS with a view to implement packages on the destination Haiti.

For their part, the responsible of VTS say commit to bridging cultural differences between the two countries and promote good relations between brothers and sisters in the Caribbean.
