Last Thursday at the Ministry of Culture, to a few days of the Carnival of Flowers [28,29 and 30 July 2013], was held yet another preparation session where it was confirmed among other things, that in many places of the Carnival area, evacuation points with ambulances for rapid transportation of any injured to hospitals are planned.

In addition, as requested by Josette Darguste, the acting Minister of Culture, at the previous meeting, the Divisional Commissioner Michel-Ange Gédéon, Departmental Director for West of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) confirmed that all relevant provisions to securing the area of ​​the carnival were considered. It is even provided security patrols in key areas after the course of the festivities.

For greater synergy between the various sub-committees (PNH, Red Cross, DPC, etc...), mindful of the full success of this great summer event, the Minister proposed to the Committee to carry out a simulation session, Tuesday, July 23.

At D-7 of the beginning of Carnival of Flowers 2013, following bands were chosen for the show : T-vice, Djakout, Ambyans, Septentrional, T-Micky, Team Lobey, Kreyol La, Barikad Crew, Rockfam, Carimi, Bookman eksperyans, Ti landeng and Ti pay.
