The Société Financière Haïtienne de Développement S.A. (SOFIHDES), the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) and the Research and International Cooperation Center (CECI) will soon launch a modular training program in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and the Management Organization of the Destination North (OGD). This program will be implemented for the benefit of entrepreneurs, executives, and support staff of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism sector in the northern region.

To provide the various modules of the curriculum, it will be necessary to recruit of resource based in the North, with the following profile :

- Entrepreneurs with confirmed training capacity;

- Professionals with relevant knowledge in the business in general and the tourism industry in particular;

- Experienced trainers in areas related to the management of tourism enterprises.

Trades targeted by this training program :

1 - Owners and Public Relations

2 - housekeepers, maids, valet and laundry

3 - Head receptionist, receptionists and cashier

4 - Chef and kitchen boy

5 - Barman, head waiter and server

6 - Accounting, finance, administrators and other middle executives

7 - Attendant Human Resource Management

For this purpose, is launched a call for expressions of interest to experienced teachers, entrepreneurs and professionals in the hospitality industry and in the reception based in the North, able provide courses and provide technical support in the areas of the sector.
