Haiti - Tourism : Stéphanie Villedrouin met Minister of Tourism for Quebec

Saturday, as part of her official visit to Quebec, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism met her counterpart of Quebec Pascal Berubé. Discussions were held around the possibility of creating a training mission in tourism from Quebec in Haiti. It were also discussed of the classification of tourist facilities in Haiti (Label Hibiscus).

The two Ministers agreed for a cooperation, for knowledge sharing between officials dealing with the classification system of hotel facilities in both countries. In addition, the Minister Villedrouin, xpressed the wish that the label program in Haiti, may obtain approval from the Ministry of Tourism Quebec "Approved by Quebec".

Berubé Minister and his team could travel to a later date in Haiti for follow-up meetings.
