Sunday, Charles Jean-Jacques, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, attended the 8th edition of the exhibition Women, Creation and Production at the Karibe Convention Center. This initiative, which emphasized the cultural richness of Haiti, was also an opportunity for exhibitors to promote the best crafts products of Haiti made by women from different regions of the country, which are the engine of economic and social development of Haiti.

Also participating in this great cultural show, Murielle Lecontre, an emblematic figure of Haitian culture and big fan of the plastic art and fashion, she had a head-to-head with Minister Jean-Jacques about its activities in Haiti, after more than two years of absence.

The Minister was pleased of the Women Development and production initiative, launched by the Haitian organization Women in Democracy and congratulated all those who contributed to its success and still continue to work on the development of the Haitian woman.
