The Ministry of Trade and Industry informs us that the first Innovation Summit of Haiti will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013, from 8:00 a.m., at Henry Christophe Campus of the State University of Haiti, in Limonade.

This major event will be organized around the theme "Innovation, engine of competitiveness and economic growth". The program includes panel discussions, roundtables, sharing of experiences and exhibitions on innovation, led by experts.

Saturday evening, the 30 winning projects of the National Competition for Young Innovative Entrepreneurs will be rewarded in the presence of sponsors and partners of the program "Promotion and Supervision of Innovation".

The objective of this Innovation Summit, is to establish a forum for the celebration of the creative thinking to employment, wealth and growth in the context of the implementation of the Government's strategic plan in the field of entrepreneurship and job creation.
