Haiti - Reconstruction : Visit of the Prime Minister in the Artibonite

The prime minister Laurent Lamothe went this week, in the Artibonite to to ensure of the smooth progress of projects being implemented. The Head of Government visited among others, the rehabilitation project of the dam Laverdure to irrigate thousands of hectares of arable land, the public market Dupuy in construction and other projects in progress include the Lycée Henry Christophe of Petite-Rivière of the Artibonite.

Moreover, the Prime Minister announced the strengthening of "Ede Pèp" program in the town of Petite Riviere of the Artibonite and asked the employees of Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), present at the occasion, to distribute more than 2,500 "Panye solidarite" and nearly 2,000 hot meals to the rivartibonitienne population. In addition, thanks to the mobile phone companies Digicel and NATCOM, the population has received 400 free cell phones.
