Haiti - Education : Audit of non-public schools, members of PSUGO

From 15 April to May 30, 2013 will take place an audit process, of non-public schools, members of the Universal Schooling Program, Free and Compulsory (PSUGO) indicated Friday, Jean Wilnor Pierre, Director of support to private education and of partnership of the Ministry of National Education.

This audit that aims a better financial management of PSUGO, will take place in all regions and departments of the country and will be conducted by public universities (located outside the Department of the West), the Ecole Normale Supérieure and some other Centres of higher education with working experience with the Ministry.

This audit will allow, among other things, to control the size of the beneficiary institutions and establish a precise list of the number of students per school and per zone. Following this audit, a list of schools, members of PSUGO, will be made available in all town halls, in the 68 offices of school districtsand in the regional offices. These lists will contribute to the elimination of fraud [false Directors and schools nonexistent to illegally receive state funds.]
