Haiti - Social : The Director of the Office of the President Martelly, in Trinidad and Tobago

Ms. Anne-Valérie Timothée Milfort, participates from Monday 25 to Wednesday, March 27 at a conference on domestic violence and gender equality in Trinidad and Tobago. At the opening of this conference, which brings together representatives of all member countries of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), Ms. Milford was appointed to pronounce, alongside three other distinguished persons, the words of circumstances. In addition, she will have a working session with Dr. Rosina Wiltshire, another great personality of the Caribbean, a specialist in the field of justice and fight against gender violence. The participation of Ms. Milfort in this conference, show, once again, the will of President Martelly to promote compliance with the rights of the Haitian woman. To this end we must recall the inauguration on March 15, 2013, by the Head of State, of the Directorate of Legal Affairs at the Ministry for the Status of Women and Women's Rights.
