Haiti - Justice : Case Brandt before the assizes, not soon...
The case Brandt involving twenty people will not be heard at the next criminal assizes without a jury, because, of the appeal of lawyers of police officers charged, against the order of the Judge Me Gabrielle P. Domingue. In case of rejection of the appeal, defense lawyers will always be able to go in Cassation, what will postpone again the action of justice in this case.
Among the twenty accused persons, 7 are still at large and actively sought, they are Elissoit Charles aka "I", Emerson Mirand, Fadner Norvalus, Jean Bernard alias "JB", Jeff aka alias "Jackmel", Mira Jean Marc aka "14" and former police inspector Edner Comé aka "Travelino Jackson".
People currently incarcerated for various charges are, according to the order of Me Domingue : Carlo Bendel Saint-Fort, Clifford H. Brandt, Berthony Dumézil, Carline Richema, Evince Larrieux, Edson Forgue, Franck Sintérine, Fritz Aristid, Jacques Darly Michelais, Gérald Fontélus, Marc-Arthur Phébé, Oneste Gabélus, Rico Pierre-Val aka "Dje", and Sawadienne Jean.
