Haiti - Politic : Fanmi Lavalas is preparing for the next elections...
Wednesday, members of the National Executive Committee, Councillors and members of the Departmental Directorates and Standing Committees of Fanmi Lavalas, have made a significant political mobilization, to define the strategies of Party in the perspective of its participation in the upcoming elections.
Recall that the Party Fanmi Lavalas had been excluded from the elections of 2009 and 2010 due to the inability of former President Aristide, in exile to sign some documents. Dr. Maryse Narcisse Coordinator of the Executive Committee of Fanmi Lavalas, explained that "every time elections are announced, Fanmi Lavalas will be there, conditioning the participation of its Party among other, to the establishment of a credible Electoral Council, able to organize free, fair, democratic and inclusive. "If these prerequisites are met, and if we go to the elections, we're going to win [...] We will mobilize all our forces to win elections at all levels, and resume the path of change," declared the Coordinator of Fanmi Lavalas.
If Fanmi Lavalas participates in elections, it will be the first time since 2004.
