In order to strengthen ties of friendship and promote exchanges at all levels between the Republic of Haiti and the Republic of China, the Taiwanese Government, through its Embassy in Port-au-Prince, launches a call for candidates for the granting of scholarship to the program "The Taiwan Scholarship 2013" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China.

The program that will begin in September 2013, includes one year of learning of the Chinese language, then four years of university education ending at the level of license (Bachelor Degree).

The fellow will receive a ticket round trip in economy class and a monthly fee of 25,000 Taiwan dollars (± 830 U.S. dollars) for the period of language learning and 30,000 Taiwan dollars (± 900 U.S. dollars) monthly for the period of university study. Costs incurred,such as accommodation, books, school fees, will be paid by the grantholder.

• A curriculum vitae (in English, with phone numbers and e-mail)

• An autobiography (in English, 500 words)

• A copy of passport, of the fiscal identity card or national ID card

• A copy of secondary school diploma

• A copy of the transcript of studies (notes) BAC II

Selection procedure :

Candidates must file before 22 March 2013 the candidature files at the Embassy of the Republic of China located at # 22, Rue Lucien Hubert, Morne Calvaire, Pétion-Ville, in an envelope marked "Demande de Bourse de Taïwan".

The selected candidates in the pre-selection will be informed by e-mail or phone before 3 April 2013 for participation in an oral examination to be held April 10, 2013 at 8:30 am at the Embassy of the Republic of China.

Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail or phone from 1 July 2013.
