Haiti - Politic : The President Martelly met the 3 advisers of CSPJ

Following a letter signed by Me Anel Alexis Joseph, President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) addressed to the President Martelly, Monday, February 18, informing him of the inability of the CSPJ to find a favorable outcome to the crisis, resulting from the appointment of its 3 members installed at the Permanent Electoral Council (CEP), following a vote contested and requesting the intervention of the Executive in the outcome of this crisis, the President Martelly met Friday in the presence of mediators of "Religion for Peace", which make their return in this case, Patrick Métellus, Yves Benoit Jean-Marie and Salnave Exantus, 3 electoral advisers of the CSPJ who sit on the CEP.

During this first meeting, the 3 advisers, while being willing to negotiate, recalled that no one could force them to leave, but they were open to dialogue in accordance with the law.

Mgr. Pierre Andre Dumas, Coordinator of "Religions for Peace" has found that there was an opening and goodwill on both sides, recalling that the role of the inter-faith platform was not to be in favor of one or the other party, but to promote dialogue in accordance with the common interests of the Nation.

This openness of advisers, contains claims that they wish to discuss with the members of the CSPJ. To this end, a meeting should be held very soon has informed Mgr. Dumas which has asked the parties to adhere to the terms contained in the Agreement of 24 December and not add new demands recalling that "Religion for Peace" was there to ensure the proper compliance with the terms of this agreement .
