At the initiative of Rose Anne Auguste, the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister, in charge of human rights and the fight against extreme poverty and of Fund of Economic and Social Assistance (FAES), a dozen artists and artisans gathered within the cultural and artistic Association of Milot, are currently working to decorate hundreds of hats, all made and purchased in Milot. These hats are decorated with logos of programs "Ti Manman Cheri" and of "Ede pèp" and the silhouette of a mother kissing her baby tenderly.

According to the Minister, this activity allows to encourage and promote during the carnival festivities inaddition to the local culture, the national production and small and medium enterprises. Contracts with these artists and craftsmen fall within the framework of the social economy, said the Minister Rose Anne Auguste. "We must get these people out of the shadows, because some of them, have too much potential."

In addition, artists of Milot, including, excellent self-taught painters participated in the decoration of the stand of FAES.
