Haiti - Tourism : Modification of the departure of the mini-cruise, Port-au-Prince - Cap-Haitien

The cruise ship Adriana, of the Tropicana Cruise Line, docked, Wednesday, February 6 to 9:00 am, on the main dock of Port-au-Prince. "Everything is ready for boarding" confirmed Commander Dementov Oleksandr, Captain of the ship.

Given certain queries, the departure date of the first mini-cruise, Port-au-Prince to Cap-Haitien, has been modified, the Adriana therefore will leave Port-au-Prince Friday, February 8 at 5 pm instead of Thursday, February 7th and the cruise will last now only one night. Participants in this mini-cruise will be able thus embark from Port-au-Prince, without losing a day of work or school day.

Boarding will start Friday, February 8 at 2:00 pm and end at 4:30 pm, at the main dock of Port-au-Prince. After dinner, a carnival ball will be held on board, led by a Haitian DJ.

Saturday, February 9, at sunrise, the ship will be in the bay of Mole Saint-Nicolas for a panoramic tour of the historic coastal landscape (without ashore). The voyage to Cap-Haïtien will be done at present by day, allowing visitors to experience the route of Christopher Columbus, by observing the North Coast of the country, Turtle Island etc...

The arrival at the dock of Cap Haitien is scheduled on February 9 about 3:00 pm Individuals enrolled in the floating hotel, will be able to embark when docking the ship in Cap Haitien "All arrangements have already been made to accommodate the revelers who will stay aboard Adriana," assured Mr. Bobby Chauvet Representative of the agency, organizer of the cruise.

The stop to Labadee will be done Sunday, February 10 with the course : Cap-Haitien - Labadee - Cap Haitien. The rest of the program remains unchanged.

The presence of the ship Adriana in the haitian waters allows not only to support the concept of decentralized carnival, but also send a message that our country is back in the cruise tourism.
