Following the cabinet reshuffle of Tuesday, 7 ministers have been replaced, among them : Daniel Supplice, the Minister of Haitians Living abroad has passed the baton to Bernice Fidelia and Ady Jean Gardy, the Minister of Communication to Régine Godefroy, they spoke about their departure :

Daniel Supplice :

"We just spent more than a year in a dialogue to find the means to respond more or less adequately to aspirations and grievances of the brothers and sisters living outside the borders of the Motherland. For this purpose I would like to thank you on my own behalf and on behalf of Government Martelly-Lamothe for a frank and sincere collaboration always focused on the well-being of the Haitian diaspora.

Today it is called on me to give my place to another titulaire whose motivation, I am convinced, is and remains the willingness of the Government to continue the Mission of the Ministry of Haitians living abroad and especially to translate into action the objectives that we have set.

I apply for your kindness and your support to my successor, always bearing in mind the adage "Haiti needs its Diaspora" without taking into account who is at the helm of the Organization to serve as a catalyst to the achievement of the desired objectives.

I am confident that we will continue to work together for the well-being of our dear Haiti.

Ady Jean Gardy :

"Thank you to all those who have supported my work over the past months. I was very happy to create the Ministry of Communication, the last year with the vision of helping to rebuild our country, as part of government efforts at the level of the Communication for sustainable development. It took every day to maintain the vision, transcend difficult situations and keep your head up. I promise to continue to further strengthen the sector of the press and hold above all, the sense of dignity.
