Haiti - Politic : New weekly schedule for the delivery of letters and parcels

Friday, the Post Office of Haiti (OPH) announced as for the benefit of Haitian people than that of abroad, that a new weekly schedule for the delivery of letters and parcels, towards the provincial towns, came into force.

Vans identified with the new logo DPOs are assigned to the days and following cities :

  • Monday : Cabaret, St Marc, Gonaïves.

  • Tuesday : Mirebalais, Hinche.

  • Thursdqy : Léogane, Petit-Goâve, Vieux bourg d’Aquin, Cayes.

  • Friday : Jacmel

Delivery of mail and parcels, is carried out in the postal office of these localities and the distribution to communal sections and private addresses of the recipients, is planned by the post office of these localities.

In addition, ground service specially designed for incoming and outgoing mail from Santo Domingo, is also effective every Wednesday.
