It's at Gustarvus O’Neil Leitbourne Sport Complex of "Providenciales", that "Radio Voice of Haitians" (RVHTCI) of Turks & Caicos Islands, celebrated earlier this month, its first anniversary.

Joël Lorquet, had made the trip specifically for this anniversary and was warmly applauded during his performance. It was an opportunity to present to the public, the staff of the RVHTCI. Consistent with its mission, since one year ago, the "Radio Voice of Haitians" never ceases to inform to inform, educate and entertain the Haitian population of Providenciales, officially estimated at about 25,000 people, or 49% of the inhabitants of this British Isle

Founded November 4, 2011 by Donald Metellus (Director of the station) "Radio Voice of Haitians," is the only Haitian radio station to cover the 42 islands in the Turks and Caicos Islands: Grand Turks, North Caicos, South Caicos, Middle Caicos, Providenciales, Salt Key, etc... with a transmitter of 1,000 watts. Note that two other radio stations, was also broadcast programs intended for the Haitian community.

RVHTCI mission is to help improve the quality of life for all Haitians through civic education programs, health, psychological, sociological, economic, cultural and spiritual. With of programs of international scope, the RVHTCI hope make know [through various agreements] to the peoples of the world, the values of Haiti : i: its glorious history, its customs and mores.

Donald Metellus is a former journalist who was on the airwaves of WLKY in Miami, Florida, it is also a civil engineer. Great defender of Haitians, he is the current Voluntary Agent for the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Turks & Caicos Islands.
