Haiti - Justice : The Consul of Haiti in Dajabón, enables the arrest of 2 Haitians

Dominican police, apprehended in Dajabón, two Haitians, Fernando Poummir, 36 and Darline Pierre, 22, who were wanted by the Haitian authorities.

The arrest was made possible thanks to the informations of Thérèse Lonjchamp, the Consul of Haiti in Dajabón who reported to police headquarters of Dajabón, the presence of two men in the company "Empanada Pica Pollo Beller" located on the street Dulce de Jesús Senfleur. The two individuals arrested were formally identified by the Consul of Haiti, as perpetrators of theft by fraud perpetrated against a bank in this city.

The two Haitian citizens, who had rented a room at Don Pedro on the street Sánchez, have recognized to be entered illegally on the Dominican territory (by the river Massacre). The hotel room was searched by the police in the presence of Freddy Ambriory Guzmán Liberato, Dominican representative of the public prosecutor.

The case will be forwarded to the Haitian authorities, following the legal procedures.
