Haiti - FLASH : Friday, October 26 is declared day off

The Ministry of Communication informs the population that, following the consequences of the passage of Sandy in Haiti, the Government of the Republic decided to declare "day off" the day of Friday, October 26, 2012 throughout the national territory.

Consequently, the schools, public and private will not work during this time, with the exception of hospitals, humanitarian centers and of emergency, working to the civil protection, as part of follow up, post-Sandy, by the authorities.

The Ministry of Communication encourages people to follow the instructions of the DPC and show solidarity at all levels.
