After 23 years of hard work with a bowl around the world to beg a dollar to save the lives of our little haitians brothers, Sister Dona Bélizaire, Director of the orphanage "of sisters redemptive of Nazareth", has been detained since 21 June 2012. In the first open letter Sister Dona wrote, "Today Sister Bélizaire is a Barrabas while the kidnapper was released by the Substitute Government Commissioner Rodriguez for reasons so far unknown, despite confessions and evidence collected by the Peace Court of Kenscoff, and voila today, I am imprisoned, accused of kidnapping, which, can not be assigned to myself"

Second open letter from Sister Dona Bélizaire :

"A special thank you to all those who share my pain near or far. Thank you to those who fought for my freedom while I am still behind bars...

I assure you that your efforts are not in vain. Thank for having appreciated the dedication wherever it comes from...

A big thank also to my friends, my supporters and my family without forgetting those who made long trips to visit me. I repeat this parable of Jesus: 'I ​​was in prison and you visited me.' A great deep thank you all.

I also take this opportunity to launch an appeal for calm to the population of Kenscoff, particularly to the university students, to the parents, to the students and the disadvantaged children of the orphanage 'of sisters redemptive of Nazareth' whose I am responsible, and who had the habit to support them financially, to pay their school for several years and now unable to go to school this year.

The latter had organized a protest in the town of Kenscoff, when they learned that I was handcuffed during my appearance before the court for children 6 September 2012.

In spite of all, I want to greet them for their support to me.

Since my incarceration June 21, 2012, police and justice, merely to humiliate me, in the way they treat me in the prison, in which I found myself in subhuman conditions, or when they take pleasure to take me to court, just to spend hours...

Yet the issue remains unanswered.

If God Almighty who sent his only son, Jesus, into the world to save humanity during its passage he was able to perform miracles, despite all he was mistreated and then killed. A fortiori, me, sister Dona, one could make a lot more on me.

In spite of all my suffering and my humiliation in the prison, when I'll be released soon, yes I think, I will continue to serve the orphans, widows and the poor of my country, just for the love of God and also for the happiness of my country.

My dear compatriots living in Haiti as elsewhere, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I think you will continue to visit me, but I primarily relies on your prayers.
