Tuesday, members of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), have met, following the decision last Friday to resume the process of appointing of 3 epresentatives of the Judiciary in the Permanent Electoral Council. The vote of designation originally scheduled for Tuesday, was finally postponed to Thursday, October 4.

Following Tuesday's meeting, Me Anel Alexis Joseph, President of the CSPJ explained "[...] In the meeting we just had, when we mentioned that we should vote, someone asked the question [...] whether we must do a certification at the time of the vote, to get an idea of the personalities we have to vote ? There were pros and cons. There was another question : is this veeting, this ertification must take place before or after the vote ? We spoke extensively of certification [...] it was decided that the vote can not take place, it is necessary to make the certification before the vote.

So from tomorrow will start this exercise of certification that will last until Wednesday, October 3.

Thursday, October 4, we will invite the 12 people selected to come here, so that we can have an interview with each of them, then that same Thursday, October 4 at 10:00 am, we will vote [...]"
