Jean Mario Dupuy said he was convinced that a new paradigm must be initiate to give culture an economic dimension equal to its importance. "In saying that, I think to the implementation of a cultural policy that creates favorable conditions to the contribution of the creativity and imagination of our compatriots to the growth of the national economy," insisted Mr. Dupuy, adding "By launching the study on the cultural sectors economically viable, the Ministry of Culture intends to begin structuring the domestic market of the culture by providing it reliable economic data allowing it to conduct decisively a policy that promotes the development of industries in the areas of books, music, plastic arts, cinema and audiovisual."

According to the Minister, the government opened the works of creative industries to restore dignity to the people and at the same time allow the state to take another step to regain its fiscal sovereignty.
