The Consular Section of the Embassy of the United States in Port-au-Prince inform the public in general that following the passage of Isaac the appointments of Friday, August 24, 2012 have been postponed. Those with confirmed nonimmigrant visa appointments for August 24 should come for interviews at 10:00 a.m. on the following days :

Tuesday, September 4 : Applicants who were scheduled for 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30

Wednesday, September 5 : Applicants who were scheduled for 9:00 and 9:30

Thursday, September 6 : Applicants who were scheduled for 10:00 and 10:30

Friday, September 7 : Applicants who were scheduled for 11:00 and 11:30

It should be noted that visa applicants should bring the original confirmation page to the interview. If your situation is urgent or you are unable to come for your rescheduled appointment, please write papniv@state.gov and explain the nature of your emergency.
