Haiti - Social : Schedule of the U.S. Consulate during the Carnival of Flowers

The Government of Haiti has declared a National Holiday beginning at noon July 30th until July 31st. Government offices will be closed. Nevertheless, the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince will remain open to members of the public who already have scheduled appointments.

American citizen services :

he American Citizen Services unit will be open for routine services. All previously scheduled appointments for July 30 and 31st will be honored. American citizens in need of emergency assistance should call 2229-8000 and ask to be connected to the duty officer.

Nonimmigrant visa services :

All nonimmigrant visa appointments scheduled for July 30 and 31st will also be honored. Please make sure that you arrive at your designated time. If you have any other questions please email papniv@state.gov

Immigrant visa services :

Immigrant visa applicants scheduled for an interview on July 30 and 31st, 2012, should follow the instructions they received from the Consular Section and arrive on time. If you have any questions you may call CIVA at 3859-9564 or email papcons@state.gov
