The Office of Communication of the Presidency informs us that the 6 year old girl and the Departmental Delegate of North, victims respectively of problems frontal and of multiple superficial injuries in the traffic accident occurred on Thursday in Milot, continue to receive intensive care necessary in the capital. Their health status is practically stable.
In many hospital centers, various physicians are also at the bedside of the four team members of the Presidency, also injured in this accident that took place after the visit of President Martelly, at the Citadelle Roi Henri Christophe. Medical diagnosis revealed the following injuries concerning these four people : fracture inferior to the humerus fracture in the right arm, broken nose and head trauma and fracture to the knee.
"What happened to these people, especially to this 6 year old girl, profoundly affected me. I am sorry that this accident could have occurred. I firmly believe that the victims will recover quickly," declared the Head of State who, each day is closer of the his fellow citizens, demand that all wounded are treated with dignity.
The Office wishes to clarify that the Presidency has taken all measures to ensure that the injured receive all appropriate care and that the families of victims are properly supported.
