A note of Office of the Lower House "invites all deputies to an extraordinary session to be held this Friday, June 29 in Parliament from 11:00 am..." for the deposit by the Government, of its Finance Bill for fiscal year 2012-2013.

Marie Carmel Jean-Marie, Minister of Economy and Finance accompanied by Josépha Raymond Gauthier, Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, will proceed to the deposit in the Lower House, of the Government's draft budget for the next fiscal year, either one day before the legal deadline of June 30, thereby keeping her promise to respect the fiscal calendar.

The deputy Antoine Rodon Bien-Aimé, President of the Commission Economy and Finance of the Lower House, responsible for analyzing the budget and make recommendations, promises that the Commission will to get to work within 24 hours after the deposit.

He believes that the Commission should be able to submit its report by less than a month, so that both chambers can approve it before October 1, 2012, beginning of the next fiscal year.

The Parliament has all the powers to amend this budget, to change the nature of expenditure, to redirect or reallocate them if necessary, but it can not increase or decrease the amount of the volume of money provided by the State.
